Each iMATE 28 connector is constructed from glass-filled PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate), providing strength, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance. A neoprene mounting gasket and silicone O-ring maintain the interface seal. CU-alloy contacts plated with gold over nickel deliver reliable electrical connections that resist corrosion and wear.
