The iSENSOR i12 is constructed using glass-filled PBT housings and coupling nuts, a material known for its strong dimensional stability and resistance to mechanical wear. A neoprene mounting gasket and silicone O-ring support consistent sealing. The connector’s CU-alloy contacts with gold-over-nickel plating help maintain reliable conduction and protect the contact surfaces from oxidation. Overmold materials vary by cable selection, including PVC, TPU, and more.
Gold-Plated Contact System: CU-alloy contacts plated with gold over nickel help maintain durable, low-resistance electrical performance over time.
Multiple Contact Configurations: Available with up to eight #20 contacts or five #16 contacts, allowing the connector to support varied wiring and circuit layouts.
Temperature-Resilient Construction: Supports continuous operation between 80 °C and 105 °C, depending on wire/cable and overmold material selection.
Closed-Entry Design Options: Female inserts incorporate a closed-entry design that supports proper alignment and guided mating during connector engagement.
The iSENSOR i12 provides a sealed M12 circular connector solution with validated IP protection and multiple configuration options for sensing and control applications. Its threaded interface and flexible contact selections support stable performance in industrial and outdoor environments.
Backed by iCONN Systems’ capabilities in engineered interconnects and cable assembly manufacturing, the iSENSOR i12 offers reliable and configurable connectivity for a wide range of automation and monitoring systems.
